I have nominated to run for Council for the GOLDEN SQUARE Ward in the City of Greater Bendigo electorate.
As a proud & active Golden Square resident of 17 years, I am deeply committed to this community’s wellbeing & future.
My family & I have volunteered for & supported many local activities. This includes the local school, footy club, community pool, fire services, neighbourhood hub & more.
My passion grew this year with involvement in the Golden Square Action Group which I helped start. We set this up to strengthen connections, understand community needs & empower local solutions.
I wasn't planning to run at first, but I believe it is important to have good representation. Someone who is well connected & actively involved, so they can understand what's wanted & needed & advocate accordingly.

Why I am running for Council...
I want to ensure the voices of Golden Square electorate, including Quarry Hill & Golden Gully, are heard & respected.
I am dedicated to advocating for the changes our community wants & needs, drawing on my years of experience in community development & leadership. This includes:
revitalising our precincts
supporting our local businesses
enhancing access, walkability, & safety
improving our recreation reserves to meet the needs of all users
Together, we can build a stronger, more connected, & vibrant community!
What skills I bring…
I have a background in environmental engineering & have led many sustainability initiatives. I lead a charity that supports communities & rural towns. I’m also a director on a health board & my husband & I own a small business while raising our two teenage boys. These experiences give me a well-rounded view of our community's challenges, plus the ability to problem solve & develop new approaches.
